10/24/08 The Flambeaux, Manchester, NH
Another first time gig for us at The Flambeaux Restaurant, Sports Bar, and lounge in downtown Manchester, NH. The Flambeaux has a good menu of reasonably priced food, good size bar, a closed in patio area where people can play guitar hero on a 17 foot screen tv, and the VooDoo Room for the band and dancing. We had a great time and thanks to The Flambeaux management for having us. We hope to return again soon.

This was the first time at The Lightship for us and it was a great time. The Lightship is a fine pub with enthusiastic customers that came to see The Tweed Brothers and we had a lot of fun with them. Another successful Poker Run by the Salem-Derry Elks even with Mother Nature not cooperating. But she cooperated long enough in the afternoon so the people could party with the Tweed Brothers. Thanks to the Salem-Derry Elks for letting us participate once again.

The weather kept the crowd thin this time but Johnny's is still the place to go in southern New Hampshire and we had a great time with the people that came out and hung in with us. A great night at this really nice new venue. Prime Time Bar & Grill is turning into a player in the night scene. They're having some fine live entertainment and are drawing an appreciative crowd. 8/16/08 Kingston Veterans Harley Raffle BBQ, Kingston, NH
We don't know what it is with this gig as it rained once again only this time at the beginning. But after a couple of storms came through, the sun came out and we played to the end. As usual, the BBQ was great, the Vets raffled off a Harley, and everyone had a great time. We thank the Kingston Veterans for having us again and we hope to see you again next year.

Out on the upper deck on a beautiful night. An great crowd came to party with us. Once again, the Lobster Pound is a fine restaurant and if you're in the lakes region, you have to go and try their food and hospitality. This was a last minute booking and it was a good one. Prime Time Bar & Grill is a newly renovated sports bar in Seabrook. They're equipped with pool tables, a game room, good size bar, personable wait staff, a decent menu of reasonably priced foods, and of course, an excellent and appreciative crowd. Thanks to Prime Time for having us and we'll be back in the fall.
7/25/08 The Tap, Haverhill, MA
Why chit chat across the street because THE TAP is the class place to be in downtown Haverhill. Known for its beers and fine food, The Tap has an excellent reputation in the Merrimack Valley. Their beautiful rear deck was perfect for a summer evening with The Tweed Brothers and a very appreciative listening crowd. Thanks to The Tap management for having us and we'll be back for the beer festival in September.

This was the first time for us at The Next Page Cafe'. Next Page is a well known blues pub in the South shore area with a good food menu and attracts music lovers that appreciate bands. Satch Romano is a gracious host and the crowd welcomed us to the pub. Thanks for having us and we'll be back to Next Page in the future.

Downtown Haverhill is quickly becoming a "live music" hub and unfortunately The Chit Chat Lounge is right in the middle of it. A late crowd comes from other clubs because they have no regulars of their own due to the fact that they don't promote themselves. They expect the band to bring the crowd and pay them based on how much the bar takes in. All we can say about it is this gig was booked by a friend and doing a favor didn't work out for us 100%. In fact, it didn't work out at all. Bands beware!!!
1/4/08 Cattleman's Saloon, Nashua, NH

This was the first time at the Pasta Loft for the Tweed Brothers. Very nice and cozy venue with a "listening" but very appreciative type of crowd. The weather didn't cooperate for the first day of bike week and the traffic was a little light but we had a decent crowd on hand at the "Hog Pen". As usual, the Kingston Veterans put on a great event with the 2007 Harley being raffled off and a plenty of food and drink to go around. The Tweed Brothers played J.Brian's twice during December. The crowd was more of a listening and social crowd. Nice place but the ownership was not true to their word. Needless to say we probably will not be back at J. Brian's.
